Based on the pattern of the New Testament church, North Hills is blessed with an eldership that oversees the congregation. These men are not driven by duty, but rather allow the Lord to move them as they make decisions to spiritually grow the North Hills family.

Reed KimbroughElder
The eldest of three children, Reed spent his formative years between West Germany and the southern United States, during his father’s military career. He has been a member of the Church throughout his family’s travels, and was baptized at age 12.
He graduated from high school in Fort Knox, Kentucky and entered Eastern Kentucky University where he graduated with a degree in business administration, and a commission in the United States Army. Reed works full time for United States Steel Corporation, where he serves as Manager of Corporate Diversity Programs and Training.
Reed, his wife Charlcye, and his son Tony moved to Pittsburgh in 2006, and joined the North Hill congregation shortly thereafter. Reed was asked to serve as an elder in 2008, and often leads congregational singing. He is an active community volunteer.

Terry SmithElder Terry and his wife Joyce are originally from Louisiana. Terry was baptized into Christ at the age of 18 and has served in the Church for over 35 years. After graduating from Louisiana Tech University in 1977 with a degree in Chemical Engineering, Terry moved to Lake Charles, LA to work for PPG Industries.
He and his wife Joyce were married in June of that year. Terry and family attended the Boulevard Church of Christ in Lake Charles for 20 years where he served in various roles as a deacon, including the areas of education and worship.
Terry and Joyce have two children, Jeff and Kristy (now Kristy Huntsman). In 1997, Terry transferred with his job to Pittsburgh where he and Joyce currently live in the North Hills area. The Smith family has been a part of the North Hills Church of Christ family since moving to Pittsburgh and Terry has served as an elder at North Hills since 1999. His full time job is Director, Technology for PPG’s chemicals business.

Jeff WolfgongElder
Jeff Wolfgong grew up in Western Pennsylvania and has been a lifelong member of Churches of Christ. He was a preteen when he was baptized into Christ and he has been continuously faithful to God and his church ever since. Both his father and brother were former ministers of the North Hills congregation before going on to their eternal home. Jeff has always been active in the work of the church.
He served as a bus captain and later director of the bus ministry at the New Brighton Church of Christ during his teen and college years. He and his wife Tammy lived in Knoxville, TN for 12 years where both their children, Jacob and Abby, were born. Jeff was the deacon of the middle school youth program at the West End Church of Christ in Knoxville, TN.
Jeff and his family moved back to the Pittsburgh area in 1999 and became members of the North Hills church at that time. Jeff was asked to serve as an elder in 2004. Jeff enjoys leading singing, teaching classes, studying God’s word, and shepherding. He works full time as the Director of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs for a medical device company in Pittsburgh.

In order to carry on the work that God has set out for the North Hills family, we have a dedicated group of individuals that make up our Deacons and Ministry Leaders. We have serving Deacons in each of the following areas:
